Thursday, August 1st to Sunday, August 4th
Optional Study Group to Northern Ireland (Sold Out)
- An immersive experience in the communities in Belfast with local facilitator looking at the peace process.
NOTE: You (and ONLY you) must pick up your registration materials!
This is why we have asked for arrival information. Some of you will need a special arrangement to have your credentials for your tour if you arrive late. Some may need our help to be able to access housing. The university is deciding how much luggage storage space they will allot to us. They are determining if they will keep staff onsite later to support us.
Monday, August 5th (Bank Holiday in the Republic of Ireland)
- “Welcome to Limerick” day, city tours and an Irish evening!
- Launch of Xperience K & T with “Family Day” and orientation.
- NOTE: Monday is a bank holiday in Ireland. Banks will be closed. Some shops may be closed. Public transport can operate under restricted schedules or run a Sunday service, and may be crowded, please check schedules ahead. Pubs, however will be open!
Tuesday, August 6th to Friday, August 9th
As you plan, please keep in mind the start time of evening activities and meals, and the time it takes to get there. Most evening AAW activities will start at 19:00 / 19:15. Also keep in mind the pick-up time for Xperience K & T, in the event you have children in these programs.

'90s - 2000s, Xperience K & T: Friday

- Educational sessions and workshops
- Daily Xperience K & T programmes

- Era dinners & '60s disco (Wednesday)

- “Celebrating Origins, Connections & Service” (includes Samuel Lanham and Cast Rep awards and era performances) Thursday
- “Our Fun, Family, and Future” (includes Everyday Hero awards and era performances) Friday

- Burren Farm Visit and Bread-making Class
- Slieve Carron Pullough Hike in the heart of the Burren
- Cliffs of Moher & Inis OÍrr
- Killarney
- Galway City
- Kilkenny & Waterford city including Waterford Crystal Center
Saturday, August 10th
- Medieval experience at Bunratty Castle
- Dance party with the renowned and much requested Survival Band
Sunday, August 11th
- Say fond farewells to friends who are like family, or journey on to additional adventures in Ireland with them!
Meals At-A-Glance
NOTE: Daily breakfast is included with your campus or hotel booking.
For those staying on campus, The Pavilion will serve breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 and The Stables will serve it from 7:00 to 9:30. See your booking information for early tour breakfast info. At hotels, you will need to inquire on your own about early breakfast if needed.
Monday
- Lunch on your own—in town or book on campus.
- Supper (light meal) provided for all registrants. This is one of the reasons we are asking your arrival information.
Tuesday
- On your own—book a tea, tasting or lunch & dinner with your cast or crew.
Wednesday
- Lunch on your own.
- Era Dinner—A formal dinner is provided for all registrants (2 locations; please take note).
Thursday
- We suggest lunch or early dinner with your cast or crew.
- Pre-show Reception will be wine or beer with canapés / hors d'oeuvres provided for all registrants.
Friday
- We suggest lunch or early dinner with your cast or crew—book on campus to be close to the show.
- Post-show Reception will be wine or beer with canapés / hors d'oeuvres provided for all registrants.
Saturday
- Lunch on your own in Bunratty (or Limerick).
- OR see the options to book formal lunch or dinner with a private room and screen.
- Supper (light meal) at the Dance Party provided for all registrants.
