KILLARNEY DAY TOUR

8:15am              

  • Load coaches for departure at 8:30am.

9:00am             

  • Arrive at the picturesque village of Adare where you will visit the local Heritage Centre and have the opportunity to photograph the thatched cottages, English-style cottages, beautiful stone buildings, medieval monasteries, and a pretty town park.

10:00am           

  • Depart Adare Village and continue to Killarney, County Kerry, where you will enjoy a Jaunting Car ride through Killarney National Park from Deenagh Lodge to 15th Century Ross Castle located on Lough Leane on the Lakes of Killarney followed by a visit to Torc Waterfall in the Killarney National Park.

1:00pm              

  • Lunch on your own at Muckross House Garden Restaurant with a stroll around Muckross Gardens, and The Lakes of Killarney. The Craft Workshops of Muckross Pottery, Muckross Weaving and Muckross Conservation Bookbindery all adjoin Muckross Craft Shop.

2:00pm              

  • Guided tour of the historical 19th Century Victorian mansion Muckross House.

3:30pm              

  • Leaving Muckross House and visit Killarney town where you will have free time to stroll through the streets, view the art galleries, visit a pub, or do a little shopping.

4:30pm              

  • Depart Killarney for the return to Limerick.

6:00pm              

  • Arrive Limerick.

What to Bring:
Participants are advised to wear warm clothes—layers work best. We suggest a sweater, rain jacket, jeans or pants, and comfortable shoes. Temperatures may vary with rain a possibility.
